Hello, World!

Grace Angelina Marie Slawson Hamann was born into this world at home in Rockport, Maine yesterday, at 3:28PM. She weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces. She was helped out by the world's best midwives. She joins her mother and father Robin and Kim, her sister Abby, and her brothers Finn and Tristan.

Yesterday was indeed an auspicious day for my daughter to be born. Today my bed is a bit smaller and there is a bit more love in the world.
